Parkluxe 2017

Another Parkluxe has passed us by and what an amazing show. I feel so honored to be able to continue to create the hair for Ourparkonline.

My favorite part of creating is the discovery of the look. Working with different ideas until we decide on what the final look will be. 

This year the show was hosted at spruce meadows and I, of course, thought of horses and the application of braiding and roping to their tails. Equestrian riders for the most part always have style to their horse and I wanted a look that could showcase that. We then transition the hair into a low sleek chignon for the second half of the the event and for the headlining designer.

Every year I challenge myself to create something so much different from the last year. We are very fortunate that we have this platform to showcase not only the work of the designers but that of the makeup artists and the hairstylists.
